Ceramic Coatings and Paint Correction

We offer Auto Detailing and Maintenance Plans as well

What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is the process of machine polishing your vehicle’s paint to remove imperfections and restore clarity. It improves the overall appearance by correcting defects in the clear coat before any long-term protection is applied.

Removes Swirl Marks

Swirl marks are fine scratches caused by improper washing or automatic car washes. Paint correction safely levels the clear coat to reduce or eliminate these marks, leaving a clearer, deeper finish.

Removes Light Scratches

Light surface scratches often sit within the top layer of the clear coat. Through controlled polishing, paint correction reduces or removes these imperfections to improve the overall look of the paint.

Restores Gloss and Clarity

Over time, paint becomes dull from contamination and micro-marring. Paint correction restores depth, shine, and reflection by smoothing the surface so light reflects evenly.

Levels Paint Imperfections

Minor defects, hazing, and uneven texture can make paint look tired or faded. Paint correction refines the surface to create a smoother, more uniform finish.

What is a Ceramic Coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid protection layer that is applied to your vehicle’s paint and chemically bonds to the surface. It adds long-term protection, enhances gloss, and makes routine maintenance much easier.

Long-Term Paint Protection

Ceramic coatings create a durable protective layer over your paint that lasts far longer than traditional waxes or sealants. This helps protect the surface from everyday wear, UV exposure, and environmental contaminants.

Extreme Gloss and Depth

Once applied, a ceramic coating enhances the clarity and richness of your paint. The result is a deeper shine and a cleaner, more reflective finish.

Hydrophobic Water Behavior

Ceramic coatings are highly hydrophobic, meaning water and dirt bead up and slide off the surface more easily. This helps your vehicle stay cleaner longer and makes washing faster and safer.

Easier Maintenance

Because contaminants have a harder time sticking to the surface, routine cleaning becomes simpler. Regular washes require less effort and help maintain that freshly detailed look.

Our Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating Process

1. Full Decontamination Wash

Every service starts with a deep, safe wash to remove dirt, road film, and surface grime. This ensures the paint is fully clean before any corrective or protective work begins.

2. Iron Removal & Clay Bar Treatment

We use an iron remover to dissolve embedded contaminants followed by a clay bar treatment to pull bonded debris from the paint. This leaves the surface smooth and properly prepared for polishing.

3. Machine Paint Correction

Using professional polishing equipment, we refine the paint to reduce swirl marks, light scratches, and imperfections. This step restores clarity and gloss while creating the ideal surface for coating adhesion.

4. Ceramic Coating Application

Once the paint is fully corrected and prepped, the ceramic coating is carefully applied panel by panel. The coating bonds to the paint to provide long-term protection, gloss, and hydrophobic performance.

5. Cure Time + Final Inspection

After application, the coating is allowed to properly cure and bond. We finish with a detailed inspection to ensure even coverage, maximum gloss, and a flawless final result.

Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection FAQs

  • The lifespan depends on the coating used, how the vehicle is maintained, and driving conditions. With proper care, most professional ceramic coatings last several years and maintain strong gloss and protection over time.

  • No — ceramic coating is not scratch proof. It adds a durable layer of protection that helps resist minor swirls and environmental damage, but it will not prevent deep scratches or rock chips.

  • Yes. A ceramic coating makes your vehicle easier to clean, but it does not eliminate the need for regular washing. Routine maintenance keeps the coating performing at its best and preserves the finish. We recommend getting your car detailed or washing it yourself, rather than machine car washes. This is because they can damage your ceramic coating over time.

  • Time varies depending on the condition of the paint and the level of correction needed. Most services take anywhere from one to multiple days to ensure proper preparation, correction, application, and curing.

  • Hand washing with safe wash methods is recommended. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes, use pH-safe products, and follow a regular maintenance schedule to maximize the life and performance of the coating.
